Across 14 days, you’ll explore Cebu, Malapascua, Verde Island, Puerto Galera, and Anilao — a voyage that blends the freedom of Avelo with the richness of the Coral Triangle. This isn’t just the start of an itinerary; it’s the start of a new way to dive.

Solitude One Itinerary: 14 days & 13 nights Cebu to Anilao, Launch Voyage 17 – 30 Jan 2026

  • Day 1: Cebu City – Embarkation (No Diving)
    Board Solitude One in the afternoon between 2:00–6:00 PM. After a warm welcome, orientation, and registration, enjoy dinner onboard as the voyage begins.
  • Days 2–3: Apo Island / Dauin / Zamboanguita (a possible 3–4 Dives/Day)
    Contrast two worlds of diving: Dauin and Zamboanguita’s black sand muck slopes, home to rare macro critters, and Apo Island’s vibrant reefs teeming with reef fish, schools of larger fish, and sea turtles.
  • Day 4: Moalboal (a possible 3 Dives)
    Experience the famous sardine run and explore Pescador Island’s mix of reef and wall dives.
  • Days 5–7: Malapascua / Monad & Kimud Shoals (a possible 3–4 Dives/Day, 2 Dives on Day 7)
    Rise early for a chance to encounter thresher sharks at Monad and Kimud Shoals. Dive Gato Island for whitetip reef sharks, schooling fish, and fascinating macro life.
  • Day 8: Manta Bowl & San Miguel Island (a possible 3 Dives)
    Drift into Manta Bowl’s cleaning stations, where mantas are often seen. Then enjoy a colourful, macro-rich wall dive at San Miguel Island.
  • Day 9: Romblon (a possible 3 Dives)
    Discover a macro haven, especially for rare nudibranchs like Melibe and Cyerce species. Also explore coral walls and a blue hole dive.
  • Day 10: Verde Island (a possible 3 Dives)
    Dive into one of the Philippines’ most biodiverse regions, known for dramatic reefs, strong currents, and pelagic encounters.
  • Day 11: Puerto Galera (a possible 3–4 Dives)
    A diverse day of diving awaits, from colourful reefs to wrecks and even muck sites.
  • Days 12–13: Anilao / Sombrero Island (a possible 3–4 Dives Day 12, 2–3 Dives Day 13)
    Anilao offers a blend of vibrant reefs and world-class muck diving. Note: a minimum 18-hour pre-flight surface interval is required.
  • Day 14: Anilao / Batangas – Disembarkation (No Diving)
    Disembarkation is between 7:00–11:00 AM. Bid farewell to your crew and transfer to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport for onward travel.

Cebu to Anilao Avelo Jan 2026
Day 1 Cebu City – Embarkation (No Diving)

Arrive at Solitude One between 1400–1800 hrs. Our crew will welcome you onboard with orientation and registration. Permits and park fees will be collected at this time. Dinner is served as we prepare to begin the voyage.

Day 2-3 Apo Island / Dauin / Zamboanguita

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3–4 dives each day

Two very different dive environments await. Dauin and Zamboanguita are celebrated for black sand muck slopes that host rare critters and fascinating macro life. Apo Island, by contrast, offers stunning coral gardens, bustling with reef fish, schools of larger species, and sea turtles.

Day 4 Moalboal

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3 dives

Moalboal is home to the famous sardine run, where vast schools of sardines move in unison. Pescador Island, a combination reef and wall dive, adds more variety to the day.

Day 5-7 Malapascua / Monad & Kimud Shoals

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3–4 dives each day, 2 Dives on Day 7

Malapascua is one of the few places in the world where thresher sharks are reliably seen. Diving Monad and Kimud Shoals at sunrise, you’ll be ahead of the day boats. Gato Island provides additional highlights, with whitetip reef sharks, schooling fish, and unique macro encounters.

Days 8 Manta Bowl & San Miguel Island

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3 dives each day

Known for its cleaning stations, Manta Bowl attracts manta rays and is often subject to strong currents requiring negative entries. In contrast, San Miguel Island offers a relaxing and colourful wall dive rich in macro subjects.

Day 9 Romblon

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3 dives

Romblon is renowned among macro photographers, particularly for rare nudibranchs such as Melibe and Cyerce species. Coral walls and a blue hole dive round out the experience.

Day 10 Verde Island

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3 dives

Dive into Verde Island, famed for its stunning reefs and powerful currents. This area’s biodiversity is exceptional, with the possibility of pelagic encounters drifting in from the blue.

Day 11 Puerto Galera

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3-4 dives

Puerto Galera offers variety: colourful coral reefs, intriguing wreck dives, and muck diving sites. A well-rounded day of exploration for every diver.

Day 12-13 Anilao / Sombrero Island

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3-4 dives Day 12, 2-4 Dives Day 13

Anilao is celebrated both for its healthy coral reefs and its world-class muck diving. Enjoy full diving days before winding down with a minimum 18-hour pre-flight surface interval in preparation for departure.

Day 14 Anilao / Batangas – Disembarkation (No Diving)

Gives the opportunity of a possible 3-4 dives Day 12, 2-4 Dives Day 13

Enjoy your final breakfast onboard as the voyage draws to a close. Disembarkation is scheduled between 07:00 and 11:00 AM.

Before departure, you’ll receive a check-out briefing to review your onboard expenses and settle your account. We accept USD cash (preferred) and major credit cards. Please let the cruise directors know your preferred payment method the day before disembarkation to ensure a smooth process.

Guests will then be transferred either to Manila (MNL) Airport or, if you’d like to extend the adventure, to Solitude Acacia Resort in Anilao—a serene setting for more diving, delicious cuisine, and well-earned relaxation.
