Solitude Adventurer is a 36-metre aluminium catamaran, originally built as a private yacht. Following a full renovation in 2017, she began liveaboard operations in Indonesia in late 2018. She accommodates up to 18 guests in eight above-deck cabins, with a wide catamaran layout that creates generous indoor and outdoor spaces. Her itineraries explore Raja Ampat, Komodo, the Banda Sea, Ambon, Maumere and Alor.
COMFORT AT SEA
All cabins are above deck, with large windows bringing natural light and views of Indonesia’s passing islands. The catamaran’s generous beam creates spacious shared areas indoors and out. Between dives, guests can settle into the lounge with books, films, bean bags and a massage chair. Guitars are also available for guests, and impromptu music with the crew is part of Adventurer’s easygoing character.
DINING EXPERIENCE
Days aboard include five meal services: a light breakfast, cooked breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Complimentary biscuits and instant noodles are available throughout the day. Main meals are generally buffet-style, with selected dishes served a la carte. Weather permitting, dinner may also be served on the sun deck under the stars.
SCUBA DIVING
Solitude Adventurer explores some of Indonesia’s most distinctive diving regions, including Raja Ampat and Misool, Komodo, the Banda Sea, Ambon, Maumere and Alor. Routes vary by season and are planned around the character of each region. Depending on the itinerary, dives may include coral reefs, current-swept channels, volcanic seascapes, pelagic encounters, macro life and historic wrecks. Each journey offers a different view of Indonesia’s marine landscapes. Daily plans remain flexible so the dive team can respond to local conditions and make the most of each region.
Cabins
Solitude Adventurer currently offers eight above-deck cabins for up to 18 guests: one Quad Cabin, six Deluxe Cabins and one Stateroom.
From September 2028, Solitude Adventurer will offer ten cabins while maintaining a maximum capacity of 18 guests. The changes will apply only to the Main Deck. The six twin-sharing Deluxe Cabins on the Upper Deck will remain unchanged. The Main Deck will be reconfigured to include two new Deluxe Cabins offering twin- or double-sharing arrangements and two new Deluxe Cabins designed for single occupancy.
All cabins will remain above deck, with large windows providing natural light and views of the surrounding seascape. The updated design draws on our experience across the Solitude fleet, combining guest feedback with thoughtful storage, practical use of space and the everyday needs of travelling divers.

From the very beginning, safety has always been the most important aspect of Solitude and at the forefront of all decision making. Given the remote areas we operate in, it is vital to us that our crew are well trained and we are equipped to handle any scenario should it occur. Safety at Solitude includes both emergency preparedness and proactive measures designed to reduce risks before incidents occur.
During your stay onboard we provide our guests with a complimentary Nautilus Marine Rescue GPS to provide that peace of mind when out diving in the remote parts of Indonesia.

We know that time and investment in holidays are valuable and you want to dive as much as you can. We fully understand that, as we take diving holidays too! Be assured that we are committed to providing you with as many dives as we safely can. Besides the obvious reasons why we would not let you go for a dive (stated in your registration form declaration), being well-rested and rehydrated for your first dive is a good first step.
This is why we need to ensure that you have at least 6 hours of proper rest after your arrival before making your first dive. We know you learned about safety during your scuba course(s) but sometimes the excitement and anticipation of a diving holiday can get the better of us and we tend to overlook our own condition for a dive.
Our commitment to safety also includes our crew which is why we limit a maximum of 4 dives (including a night dive) in a day so that they too get ample rest to minimise fatigue, ergo minimise the risk of working on a vessel.
As always, itineraries are subject to weather, logistics, and also, importantly, where sites are better during the week of your cruise. Your cruise directors will constantly be updating you on the schedule/plans on board during your cruise.

Enriched Air Nitrox
Enriched Air Nitrox is exclusively offered to certified divers. Our proficient dive team will determine the blend, approximately between 28-32%, considering the MOD, dive site, its profile, and target species, ensuring the best opportunity for a safe and optimised diving experience.
