General

Solitude Gaia Maldives is currently in development, with final specifications and onboard systems being refined. The vessel is being designed to support extended cruising across the Maldives, with a focus on operational reliability, safety and guest comfort.

Planned features include modern propulsion systems, efficient fuel and water management, and a comprehensive suite of navigation and communication equipment suited for remote environments. Safety systems will align with international maritime standards, incorporating GMDSS capabilities, life-saving appliances and fire suppression systems.

Diving

Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) will be available for certified divers onboard Solitude Gaia Maldives. Final blends and delivery systems are being refined to offer optimised mixes suited to dive profiles and site conditions.

Standard cylinder configurations (DIN and International fittings) are planned, along with optional upgrades such as larger capacity cylinders and side-mount setups. At this stage, support for rebreather and twin tank configurations is not anticipated.

Diving facilities are being developed to reflect Solitude’s established standards, with high-capacity air systems and a range of cylinder options to support varied diving preferences.

Dive operations will be supported by dedicated tenders, experienced guides and a structured approach that prioritises both safety and enjoyment. Standard equipment such as SMBs and weights will be provided, with additional gear and selected items available onboard.

Comprehensive first aid and medical oxygen will be available at all times.

Cameras & Gadgets

Solitude Gaia Maldives is being designed with underwater photographers in mind. Planned features include dedicated camera rinse areas, setup spaces on the dive deck and a digital workstation for image review and storage.

Charging will be available in both guest cabins and a dedicated camera area, with universal outlets provided. Power systems and protection features are being configured to support a range of devices safely and efficiently.

Hospitality

Life onboard is being thoughtfully designed to balance comfort, ease and flexibility throughout your journey.

Guests can expect relaxed communal spaces with entertainment options, a small onboard library and a selection of board games. Refreshments will include a range of coffee and tea options, along with free-flow drinking water available throughout the vessel.

A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as light snacks, will be available onboard. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
