Journey into the heart of the legendary Banda Sea, where volcanic islands, untouched reefs and crystal-clear waters create one of Indonesia’s most rewarding dive expeditions. Over eight nights aboard Solitude Adventurer, explore remote islands shaped by volcanic activity, dramatic underwater landscapes and thriving coral ecosystems.

Discover the colourful reefs of Suanggi and Run, dive alongside the famous sea snakes of Manuk Island and explore the historic Banda Islands, where spectacular walls, giant sponges, schooling fish and seasonal hammerhead sharks make every dive unique. Optional land excursions to Banda Neira provide a fascinating glimpse into the history of the Spice Islands, complementing the remarkable underwater experiences.

Between dives, relax aboard Solitude Adventurer as you cruise through one of Indonesia’s most remote island chains, enjoying attentive hospitality while travelling between exceptional dive destinations.

Day 1: Ambon – Embarkation (Up to 1 Check Dive)
Embark aboard Solitude Adventurer, settle into your cabin, complete orientation and diver registration, then enjoy a check dive at one of Ambon’s renowned black sand macro sites in Laha before departing overnight for the Banda Sea.

Day 2: Suanggi & Run (Up to 4 Dives)
Begin exploring the spectacular Banda Sea with dives around Suanggi and Run, where healthy coral reefs, giant sponges and abundant marine life create an unforgettable introduction to the region.

Day 3: Manuk Island (Up to 4 Dives)
Discover the volcanic island of Manuk, famous for its thriving coral reefs, remarkable sea snake populations and the possibility of seasonal hammerhead shark encounters.

Day 4: Manuk Island (Up to 4 Dives)
Continue exploring Manuk’s vibrant reefs, where colourful coral gardens, abundant reef fish and fascinating macro life reward every dive.

Day 5: Banda Islands (Up to 4 Dives)
Explore the spectacular reefs and walls of the Banda Islands, with dive sites selected according to weather and conditions. Depending on the schedule, an optional visit to historic Banda Neira may also be available.

Day 6: Banda Islands (Up to 4 Dives)
Continue discovering the Banda Islands, including pristine reefs, dramatic walls and thriving marine ecosystems surrounding Hatta, Run and neighbouring islands.

Day 7: Banda Islands (Up to 4 Dives)
Enjoy a final full day diving the Banda Islands before beginning the return journey towards Ambon.

Day 8: Suanggi or Nusa Laut (Up to 2 Dives)
Complete your final morning dives at either Suanggi Island or Nusa Laut before returning to Ambon and commencing the mandatory minimum 18-hour no-fly surface interval.

Day 9: Ambon – Disembarkation (No Diving)
After breakfast, bid farewell to the crew before your transfer to Pattimura Airport (AMQ) for your onward journey.

All itineraries are subject to change due to weather, sea conditions, currents and local authority requirements. The Cruise Director may adjust routes, dive sites and schedules to maximise safety and guest experience. Marine life sightings are natural encounters and cannot be guaranteed.
