Boarding for Solitude Gaia Maldives begins promptly at 1700 and concludes no later than 1000 on Day 2.

Welcome aboard, Solitude Gaia Maldives — your home for the coming week as we journey through the Maldives’ most iconic atolls. After complimentary transfers from the airport or your local hotel, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our crew as you settle into your cabin and familiarise yourself with the vessel.

Orientation, safety briefings, and diver registration will follow, where we’ll also collect your Maldives Marine Park and Atoll entry fees. Dinner will be served as you relax on deck, meet your fellow guests, and take in your first Maldivian sunset.

Our services include complimentary airport and local hotel transfers. Please bring your diving certification cards and/or logbooks for verification during registration. For a detailed guide on required fees, documentation, and travel guidelines, refer to our Know-Before-You-Go document.

Your first full day of diving begins in North Malé Atoll, where warm, clear waters and healthy coral formations set the tone for the journey ahead. These vibrant reefs are home to manta rays, turtles, and schooling reef fish dancing among soft corals and overhangs.

Between dives, enjoy the sun deck or unwind in the Jacuzzi as Solitude Gaia Maldives cruises south towards the next atoll.

Today, we explore South Malé Atoll, known for its exciting channel diving and pelagic encounters. Expect to drift along steep walls alive with grey reef sharks, trevally, tuna, and schooling fusiliers.

Currents here bring the reef to life — a thrilling balance of motion and stillness. As the day winds down, enjoy a relaxed evening on deck, sharing dive stories beneath a canopy of stars.

Gives the opportunity for 3 to 4 dives, including a night dive.

Choice of sites: Miyaru Kandu / Fotteyo Kandu / Alimatha Jetty

Vaavu Atoll offers both adrenaline and beauty in equal measure. Start the day with sweeping channel dives teeming with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and barracuda, then prepare for one of the Maldives’ most unforgettable experiences — the Alimatha Jetty Night Dive.

As darkness falls, dozens of nurse sharks, stingrays, and jacks gather under the lights in a mesmerising dance of movement and light. It’s a spectacle you’ll never forget.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will conduct an appreciation briefing, followed by the final disembarkation for our guests. We regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate late Check-Out requests, as we need to prepare for the next day’s cruise.

Today, we journey into Ari Atoll, home to some of the Maldives’ most renowned reefs. Dive into thilas alive with schools of snapper, batfish, and turtles, and explore overhangs where white-tip reef sharks rest between currents.
These sites showcase the Maldives’ remarkable balance of large pelagics and intricate macro life, offering scenes of vibrant coral and endless motion.

Gives the opportunity for 2 to 3 dives and possible snorkelling encounters.

Choice of sites: Maamigili Beyru / Kudarah Thila / Broken RockToday we venture into the South Ari Marine Protected Area, one of the few places in the world with year-round whale shark sightings. Dive and snorkel along the outer reef, keeping watch for these gentle giants cruising the blue.

Later, explore Kudarah Thila, a protected marine sanctuary rich with soft corals and abundant fish life. The day concludes with a tranquil sunset and a relaxed evening at anchor.

Choice of sites: Moofushi / Panettone / Five RocksYour final day of diving brings you to the vibrant coral gardens and pinnacles of Ari Atoll. Expect turtles, reef sharks, and swirling anthias over multi-coloured coral bommies. After your last dive, rinse off the salt, share a farewell toast with the crew, and enjoy a celebratory dinner under the stars — the perfect close to a week of adventure and discovery.

Return to Malé in the morning. After breakfast, disembark from Solitude Gaia Maldives for your transfer to Velana International Airport (MLE) or your onward resort stay. Our crew will assist with your luggage and transfers.

Take one last look at the turquoise waters and carry with you the memories of manta rays, coral thilas, and the tranquil rhythm of the sea.
