Solitude Gaia Maldives

Boarding for Solitude Gaia Maldives begins promptly at 1700 and concludes no later than 1000 on Day 2.

Welcome aboard Solitude Gaia Maldives, your home for the next seven nights. After complimentary airport or hotel transfers, our crew will greet you with a smile and guide you through check-in. Settle into your cabin, complete diver registration, and attend orientation and safety briefings.

We’ll collect Atoll entry and marine park fees, so please have your C-Cards and/or logbooks ready. Dinner is served as we cast off towards North Malé Atoll and your first Maldivian sunset.Dinner included. Refer to our Know-Before-You-Go guide for fees and documentation details.

Embarkation concludes at 1000.

Choice of sites: Lankan Manta Point / Girifushi Thila / Manta Cove

Begin your underwater adventure amid coral ridges alive with manta rays, turtles, and reef fish. Early-season currents often bring cleaning mantas close to the reef. Between dives, unwind on deck or enjoy the Jacuzzi while cruising north towards Ari Atoll.

Choice of sites: Maaya Thila / Fish Head / Hafsa Thila

Today we explore the vibrant pinnacles of Ari Atoll, where schools of snapper, barracuda, and reef sharks circle colourful coral outcrops. Expect healthy hard coral formations, macro life hiding in crevices, and gentle currents that carry you over the reef like a moving panorama.

Gives the opportunity for 2 to 3 dives.

Choice of sites: Dhigali Haa / Nelivaru Haa / Reethi Thila

Cruise north toward the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll. These reefs offer a glimpse of what awaits — lush soft corals, sea fans, and occasional reef manta sightings. Evening briefing introduces the special Hanifaru Bay protocol and snorkelling guidelines for the days ahead.

Gives the opportunity for up to 3 dives and 1 snorkelling session.

Choice of sites: Hanifaru Bay (snorkel only) / Dhigali Haa / Dhonfanu Thila

Today we enter the manta heartland. When conditions align, prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime experience — snorkelling alongside dozens of feeding mantas within Hanifaru Bay’s natural arena (permits and time slots strictly regulated). Complementary reef dives reveal schools of fusiliers, reef sharks, and turtles.

Choice of sites: Nelivaru Haa / Maalhos Thila / Milaidhoo Reef

Continue exploring Baa’s thilas and pinnacles, home to cleaning stations and dense soft coral growth. If conditions permit, a second Hanifaru Bay entry may be scheduled. Enjoy evening cruising under a sky spangled with stars as the vessel turns south for the journey home.

Choice of sites: Moofushi / Panettone / Five RocksYour final day of diving brings you to the vibrant coral gardens and pinnacles of Ari Atoll. Expect turtles, reef sharks, and swirling anthias over multi-coloured coral bommies. After your last dive, rinse off the salt, share a farewell toast with the crew, and enjoy a celebratory dinner under the stars — the perfect close to a week of adventure and discovery.

Wake to the soft light of Malé’s harbour. After breakfast, disembark from Solitude Gaia Maldives for your airport transfer or onward resort stay. Our crew will assist with luggage and farewells as you say goodbye to the Indian Ocean’s manta kingdom.
