Dive Addu’s historic British Loyalty wreck, drift alongside tiger sharks in Fuvahmulah, and weave through the exhilarating channels of Gaafu where grey reefs and silvertips patrol the blue. As the voyage progresses north, the energy softens into coral gardens and manta cleaning stations — a perfect balance of adrenaline and awe.

Day 1: Addu (Seenu) – Embarkation
Arrive and board Solitude Gaia Maldives for orientation and safety briefings before setting sail into the Indian Ocean. Dinner onboard as we prepare for the days ahead.
Day 2: Addu Atoll
Dive opportunities: 2–3 dives
Start with the British Loyalty Wreck, then explore manta cleaning stations and channels filled with reef sharks and eagle rays.
Day 3: Fuvahmulah (Gnaviyani)
Dive opportunities: up to 3 dives (briefing-led)
Dive under controlled conditions at the Tiger Shark Zone, followed by bluewater encounters with threshers and pelagics.
Days 4–6: Gaafu (Gaafu Alifu & Gaafu Dhaalu)
Dive opportunities: 3–4 dives each day
Three full days of channel diving at Villingili Kandu, Nilandhoo Channel, and Gemanafushi Ridge. Expect silvertips, tuna, and schools of barracuda in open, clear water.
Day 7: Laamu Atoll
Dive opportunities: 3 dives
Drift over Fushi Kandu’s coral ledges and spot turtles, eagle rays, and reef sharks framed by lush coral backdrops.
Day 8: Thaa Atoll
Dive opportunities: 3 dives
Currents carry schools of snapper, jacks, and the occasional manta through Thaa’s broad passes and coral slopes.
Day 9: Meemu Atoll
Dive opportunities: 3–4 dives
Wide, photogenic channels like Muli Kandu deliver thrilling drifts and pelagic sightings, followed by calm reef dives closer to the lagoon.
Day 10: Vaavu Atoll
Dive opportunities: 3–4 dives (including night dive)
Experience the famous Fotteyo Kandu and the legendary Alimatha Jetty Night Dive, surrounded by nurse sharks and rays.
Day 11: South Malé Atoll
Dive opportunities: 3 dives
Enjoy relaxed corner dives at Kandooma Thila and Guraidhoo Corner, where sharks, trevally, and turtles thrive.
Day 12: North Malé Atoll – Farewell Dives
Dive opportunities: 2 dives
Finish with leisurely dives at Lankan Manta Point or Girifushi Thila before celebrating your voyage with a final dinner onboard.
Day 13: Disembarkation – Malé (Velana International Airport, MLE)
No Dive Day
After breakfast, disembark Solitude Joy for airport transfers or onward travel. Farewell to the crew and the southern seas.

Day 1 Embarkation – Addu (Seenu)
Boarding for Solitude Gaia Maldives begins promptly at 1700 and concludes no later than 1000 on Day 2.
Welcome aboard, Solitude Gaia Maldives, your home for the next twelve nights. After complimentary airport or hotel transfers, our crew will greet you and assist with check-in. Settle into your cabin and join our orientation and safety briefings, followed by diver registration and collection of atoll entry fees.

Days 2 Addu Atoll (Seenu)
Gives the opportunity for 2 to 3 dives.
Choice of sites: British Loyalty Wreck / Manta Point / Gan Inside Reef
Begin your adventure with dives around Addu Atoll, where coral-encrusted WWII relics rest alongside vibrant reefs. Descend upon the British Loyalty Wreck, now teeming with soft corals and schooling batfish. Later, explore manta cleaning stations and channel drifts with reef sharks, trevally, and eagle rays patrolling the deep.
Day 3 Fuvahmulah (Gnaviyani Atoll)
Gives the opportunity for up to 3 dives (briefing-led).
Choice of sites: Tiger Shark Zone / Fuvahmulah Ridge / Bluewater Drop
Prepare for one of the Maldives’ most iconic encounters — diving with tiger sharks under controlled, briefing-led conditions. The open blue surrounding Fuvahmulah offers the chance to see oceanic mantas, thresher sharks, and tuna gliding through cobalt depths.
Surface intervals reveal a remote island atmosphere, steeped in natural beauty and raw ocean energy.
Day 4 – 6 Gaafu (Gaafu Alifu & Gaafu Dhaalu Atolls)
Gives the opportunity for 3 to 4 dives each day.
Choice of sites: Villingili Kandu / Nilandhoo Channel / Dhaandhoo Corner / Gemanafushi Ridge
Spend three full days exploring the vast Gaafu Atoll, renowned for its wide channels and explosive marine life. Drift through kandus alive with grey reefs, silvertips, and schools of jackfish, surrounded by pristine coral formations. Expect clear water, colourful hard corals, and rewarding long dives that blend thrill and serenity.
Day 7 Laamu Atoll
Gives the opportunity for 3 dives.
Choice of sites: Fushi Kandu / Maabaidhoo Wall / Gan Corner
Transition north to Laamu Atoll, a region of graceful drifts and dramatic drop-offs. Channels like Fushi Kandu offer sweeping currents filled with eagle rays and reef sharks, while shallow ridges host turtles and healthy coral gardens. As night falls, relax under the stars from the Jacuzzi or upper deck.
Day 8 Thaa Atoll
Gives the opportunity for 3 dives.
Choice of sites: Veymandoo Kandu / Guraidhoo Corner / Olhugiri Thila
Thaa Atoll’s passes are known for their strong flow and pelagic life. Glide through crystal-blue channels as grey reefs, trevally, and napoleon wrasse move in formation. Sheltered sites offer excellent coral and sponge growth for macro photography, balancing energy and calm.
Day 9 Meemu Atoll
Gives the opportunity for 3 to 4 dives.
Choice of sites: Muli Kandu / Veyvah Kandu / Medhufushi Reef
Enter Meemu, a tranquil stretch of atolls where reefs burst with colour and texture. Dives along Muli Kandu and Veyvah Kandu reveal thriving coral heads, reef sharks, and playful turtles in gentle currents. Expect smooth drifts, clear visibility, and relaxed lagoon evenings.
Day 10 Vaavu Atoll
Gives the opportunity for 3 to 4 dives, including a night dive.
Choice of sites: Fotteyo Kandu / Miyaru Kandu / Alimatha Jetty (Night Dive)
A highlight for many divers, Vaavu Atoll combines channel adrenaline with night-time magic. During the day, drift through Fotteyo Kandu’s coral corridors filled with reef sharks and schooling fish. After sunset, witness the famous Alimatha Jetty Night Dive, where nurse sharks, rays, and jacks swirl in a glowing underwater ballet.
Day 11 South Malé Atoll
Gives the opportunity for 3 dives.
Choice of sites: Kandooma Thila / Guraidhoo Corner / Cocoa Thila
As the voyage nears its close, dive South Malé’s lively thilas and corners — a return to colour and calm after the south’s intensity. Expect turtles, reef sharks, and huge schools of snapper framed by golden soft corals. Evening onboard celebration follows, marking the journey’s end.
Day 12 North Malé Atoll (Farewell Dives)
Gives the opportunity for 2 dives.
Choice of sites: Lankan Manta Point / Girifushi Thila / Nassimo Thila
Conclude your expedition with graceful farewell dives amid Malé’s signature reefs. Spot mantas, turtles, and reef fish as Solitude Gaia Maldives completes its return north. Toast to your adventures at the final dinner with crew and friends under the night sky.
Day 13 Disembarkation: Malé (Velana International Airport, MLE)
No diving today.
After breakfast, disembark from Solitude Gaia Maldives and transfer to the airport or your next destination. Our team will assist with luggage and travel arrangements as you bid farewell to the incredible southern seas.
